Research and Development Cell at the S.E.A College of Engineering and Technology (SEACET) Bengaluru in association with Shinawatra University, Bangkok, Thailand organized the 1st IEEE International Conference on AI-Driven Smart Systems and Ubiquitous Computing (ICAUC 2026), conference ID #68182. This conference was held at Shinawatra University (SIU), Bangkok, Thailand on 19th to 21st January 2026, which was focused on plenary and keynote talks for exchanging knowledge on the recent technological innovations in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Neural Network, Autonomous Learning Systems, Internet of Things (IoT), and Blockchain. The conference theme was “AI-driven automation, ubiquitous computing, and human-centric intelligent systems” to inspire transformative ideas and build a digitally connected research community. This conference was technically co-sponsored by the IEEE Systems Council, ensuring high technical standards. This conference proceedings will be published in IEEE digital Explorer and will be indexed by Scopus.
ICAUC 2026 received 1157 research paper submissions from researchers across various countries worldwide. After a rigorous peer-review process carried out by subject experts from reputed academic institutions and industries serving on the Technical Program and Review Committee, 289 papers were accepted for presentation and publication. This reflects an acceptance rate of approximately 25%, demonstrating the high academic standards and selectivity maintained by the conference. Plagiarism screening has been done using IEEE crosscheck to ensure strict compliance with international publication ethics and quality benchmarks.
The conference began with a warm welcome to all the dignitaries and delegates by conference Advisory Chair Dr. Pratikshya Bhandari, the Director of External Affairs, SIU. The Honorary Chair Dr. B. Venkata Narayana, the Principal, SEACET addressed about this technical collaborative event and Conference Chair Dr. Usha Desai the Dean (R&D), SEACET, presented conference report. In this International Conference on AI-Driven Smart Systems and Ubiquitous Computing (ICAUC 2026) the keynote was delivered by the distinguished Chief Guest and General Chair Dr. Veerpratap Meena, Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering National Institute of Technology (NIT) Jamshedpur, India. Also recognized globally as the IEEE Systems Council Educator of the year-worldwide. Chief Guest addressed the inauguration about the importance of IEEE Systems Council and its influence on advancing interdisciplinary research across the domains. In this inaugural event of ICAUC 2026, conference proceedings were released by the dignitaries on the dais.
